Inspired by Hieronymus Bosch´s Garden of Earthly Delights this 3D animation split into 3 parts looks at 3 of the 7 biblical deadly sins and puts them in a contemporary context. The first stage created by Valentin Friesacher shows a world at bloom and at peace with nature. The second stage created by Simon Edl confronts the viewer with a hypocritical way of life where comfort, consumerism and hedonism are at the center of society. Everything seems to be at peace but the facade begins to crumble only to reveal in the third and final stage how mankind has developed into a destructive force enslaving and ruining nature and mankind itself. The piece is intended to bring awareness to our behaviour.

I created the scenes in the third stage of the animation which are dark and sinister.
