The interpolation and upscaling of mediocre footage was part of my bachelor's thesis.
To interpolate a video means to artificially create new frames in between existing frames.
This can transform a video with a frame rate of 30fps into a video with 120fps, which can be used to create a slow-motion effect or to stabilize jittery motions.
Upscaling artificially transforms a video into higher quality and can take a 1920x1080 video to a resolution of 3840x2160, enabling the cropping and zooming in of mediocre footage.
I regularly apply my knowledge in this field as a service on Fiverr.
